Guided early on by his uncle, a guitarist for Skid Row, Gennaro learned drums, building the foundation for his musicianship.
Raised on legends like Frank Sinatra, Led Zeppelin, Cream, the Rolling Stones, and Fleetwood Mac, he developed a taste that blends soulful expression with classic rock grit. As the voice of Magi, Gennaro is known for soaring, emotional vocals that range from power to vulnerability, giving the band its unmistakable edge.
Offstage, Gennaro brings the same depth and curiosity to his work as a developing therapist. His passion for understanding people, emotion, and the human experience shapes not only his life but his songwriting and performance. This dual path fuels his connection with audiences, grounding the mystical energy of Magi in real human feeling.

Born and raised in sunny south Florida, Matthew's affinity for drumming blossomed from a young age. With an impressive seventeen years of experience, what was once a simple hobby has passionately transformed into a creative endeavor for him alongside his newfound bandmates in 'Magi'. Drawing inspiration from legends such as John Bonham, Mitch Mitchell, and John Densmore, Matthew strives to deliver an awe-inspiring, high-energy performance on stage. However, when he's not engrossed in the rhythm of his drum kit, you can find him immersing himself in the thrilling waves of the coast, effortlessly gliding through the streets of Orlando on his skateboard, or cherishing quality moments with his close-knit 'Magi' family.
About Jacob Skates
Jacob's immense musical talent has been honed over thirteen years of instrument experience, with a remarkable five-year dedication to the bass. The influential sounds of 'Led Zeppelin,' 'Allman Brothers,' and Lynyrd Skynyrd have played a significant role in shaping Jacob's musical style. His passion for music ignited during his formative years in elementary school when he discovered the melodies of the French horn and guitar. Since then, his unwavering commitment has driven him to self-teach the bass guitar, propelling his musical journey to unprecedented heights. With every strum, Jacob finds himself immersed in the euphoria of creating melodic masterpieces that captivate his audience and leave an indelible mark on the world of music.
About Luis Perez
Luis discovered his passion for the guitar during his middle school years, when he picked up his father's $30 hand-me-down guitar and taught himself how to play. This humble beginning ignited a lifelong journey with music that would see Luis transition to playing both acoustic and electric guitar over the course of seven years.
Driven by a deep love for metal and classic rock, Luis found inspiration in influential bands like 'Black Sabbath', 'Smashing Pumpkins', 'Rage Against the Machine', ‘Blind Melon’, as well as legendary groups such as 'Pink Floyd', 'Pixies', and 'Led Zeppelin'. These iconic musicians became his guiding lights, shaping his evolving style and pushing him to continually hone his craft.

The inception of Magi unfolded when Gennaro and Luis crossed paths at university and immediately connected during an impromptu jam session. Fueled by a shared vision, they vowed to elevate their musical passions and establish a band together. However, the arduous task of finding like-minded individuals who could match their fervor proved to be the most challenging aspect of their journey.
Luis swiftly reached out to his long-time friend, Jacob, who readily embraced the opportunity to join the brotherhood of Magi, effortlessly matching their unwavering dedication. With three members united, they set out on an extensive search for the final additions to their musical family. After months of relentless pursuit, fortune smiled upon them when Gennaro fortuitously stumbled upon Matthew. Not long after, they discovered Quinten, a powerhouse musician whose skills on guitar added a new layer of depth to the band's evolving sound.
The boys formed an unbreakable bond, brimming with excitement and shared ambitions to blossom as a unified rock and roll powerhouse. Hailing from Orlando, Florida, the birthplace of their profound friendship, Magi embodies the enthralling spirit of their music.
